What classes and grade level(s) do you teach?

What do you love most about Grace Christian School?

The fact that it is a Christian School where I can openly share my faith in Christ every day, in every subject.

Why do you like teaching at Grace Christian School?

As stated above, I like being able to share my faith with the children and with my co-workers. I also appreciate the environment; it is very loving and friendly.

What is a unique experience, talent, or interest that you bring to your classroom to help shape the learning experience of your students?

Being the wife of someone in the military, I have moved around and lived in many different places within the United States as well as overseas. My experience in other geographical settings enhances my ability to both relate to the students and parents as well as give them a more global perspective in all learning scenarios.

How does “Faith and Learning Connect” in your role at Grace Christian School?

Prayer is a huge part of that integration. I begin my day in prayer before the students arrive.  I join with the students in prayer to start the day, and we pray whenever the opportunity arises throughout the day. It is daily my goal to keep Christ at the forefront of all of the subjects, so, whenever possible, I try to relate that spiritual relationship with Him to whatever subject matter I am teaching.

What sets Grace Christian School students apart from other students?

Overall, Grace Christian School students have the blessing of learning in a school with a small, structured environment. This builds in each student a confidence and enthusiasm both for learning and in walking with Christ – this is what sets them apart.
