What classes and grade level(s) do you teach?

What do you love most about Grace Christian School?

I love its diversity! This school year I have students whose parents are from the United States, Ghana, Nigeria, and China.  I love working with the children and parents as we partner together to “train them up in the way they should go.”

Why do you like teaching at Grace Christian School?

I love being able to share the gospel with my students.  The Bible and the application of God’s word in the life of the students and teachers is a part of everyday life at Grace Christian School.  It is a school of spiritual and academic excellence.

What is a unique experience, talent, or interest that you bring to your classroom to help shape the learning experience of your students?

I love creativity!  What fun it is to learn through crafts, games, and special days.  I want my students to come to school each day thinking, “what are we going to learn?!” and “what are we going to do?!”

How does “Faith and Learning Connect” in your role at Grace Christian School?

Bible class is a daily part of the curriculum, each week there is a Biblical application in that lesson.  We talk about and live it throughout the day.  Our discipline system is grounded on God’s Word, the Bible, and each action, good or bad, is tied to how it pleases and glorifies God or how it displeases Him.  I tie each academic class to its Biblical basis as well; all we have and all we are is a blessing from God.

What sets Grace Christian School students apart from other students?

First their love of God and faith!  They are learning about Him and talking about Him throughout the day.  Second is their academic excellence!  Each child is encouraged and enabled to do and be their best.  Third is their love for one another!  As they are nurtured and love, that overflows into their relationships with one another.
