What classes and grade level(s) do you teach?

I teach 4th grade (except for Math) and 5th grade Language Arts.

What do you love most about Grace Christian School?

I love being able to work beside wonderful Christian teachers and staff who love the Lord and whose main purpose is to serve Christ. The support and friendships are wonderful!

Why do you like teaching at Grace Christian School?

I love children, and I love that every day I can share Christ with them. I’m thankful to be able to touch young lives by helping them to learn academically and spiritually. It is a place “where faith and learning connect.”

What is a unique experience, talent, or interest that you bring to your classroom to help shape the learning experience of your students?

I know that God has truly called me to teach in a Christian school. I’m thankful for my many years of teaching (over 30 years) which gave me understanding, experience, and many positive moments of helping children learn. God has also given me a love for children and some creative ways to help them learn and understand.

How does “Faith and Learning Connect” in your role at Grace Christian School?

It is so much fun to teach any subject and immediately relate it to Biblical principles and how God’s hand is in all that we do and learn. How special it is to include God’s truths in Science, History, Reading, and all that we study.

What sets Grace Christian School students apart from other students?

The students that have been at Grace for many years have a confidence in knowing that their teachers love them and truly want the best for them. They have many opportunities to speak in front of their peers to share information, and most see the importance of working hard to achieve, learn, and reach their goals.
